Saturday Treatment – Giving Is Living

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you." – Luke 6:38 World English Bible 

For instance, I was born in the northern part of Maine where money is very scarce. You know how it would be in a farming community in the northern part of Maine before people had as much ready money as they have now. And I had the hardest work when I began to demonstrate prosperity for myself. I began to make myself give a nickel for a penny newspaper, and I tell you it was just like pulling teeth, because I thought there were four perfectly good cents gone. But I tell you right now, we have got to do it. We have got to open up the inner channels through which the thing can flow out into expression. And I began at this time to radiate, "Now I am doing the thing that I want to do." Giving Is Living 

There is a Universal Presence called Life which is All in all the only Life that is. That means my life is that Life enjoying Itself as me. I realize then, my sole purpose and delight is giving all of myself freely and joyfully back to the Presence which eternally gives me to myself.

Now, I completely trust Life to act perfectly through me in my process of giving as living which empowers me to share my time, my talents, my treasures, and my deepest feelings of union in that Life. Life is my kinship with my world. My great delight comes with spontaneous humor and the light of laughter and uplift in the eyes and smiles of all whom I meet. I give my listening to all who share their hearts with me and see the action of Life healing all hurts and revitalizing instantly all of us who willingly accept the gift of greater life. Life expands my expectation of more life as I live every experience and give my feelings back to It knowing It always guides me into wonder and newness in every way. 

As I make my claim on Life I give myself to It and allow It to produce for me by any and all means the good I claim. My word is also my gift that returns to me prosperity and joy in wonderful, natural, loving, quiet ways. Now, I give my gratitude which opens my gift to me. And so, it is.
