Saturday Treatment - I Relax and Recreate

The idea is this: That whenever our nature demands a new experience, there is that within this nature which projects the vehicle, making the experience possible. That is the whole theory of emergent evolution reduced, to its simplest terms. …. Many people among the materialistic philosophers believe that in this ever forward movement, when nature makes the demand upon itself, whether it is in us or the Cosmos, immediately out of itself a new law is created to answer the demand. From our viewpoint, we don't care whether the new law is created or existed before we made the demand. It is and can answer the demand. – Ernest Holmes 1933 Commentaries

I Relax and Recreate

I dwell in dynamic vitality amid the infinite possibilities of the Divine Universe, which maintains and sustains me as Its own dear expression as me in orderly yet delightfully surprising ways. I stretch my awareness now to grasp evermore of this infinite all-encompassing self-sustaining Universe, to embrace both Its omniactive Law and Its immediately personal Love for this is the spiritual nature of my humanity.

Awake to this Reality, when emergent demands arise before me, I relax, draw upon the infinite wisdom of the Universe within me, and recreate my world with abundant supply for every demand I see. Every need I encounter inspires me to draw its fulfillment from the infinite Supply, which is immediately responsive to my claim and fills my order as I give it. That is the Law of life for me that forever acts on my behalf according to my acceptance. So, I always accept the highest and best I can conceive of.

Now, I have all I require. Everything is at hand when I reach for it. I enjoy radiant health, expanding wealth, uplifting creative expression, and the warmth of loving companionship with grace and ease. Now, I live in peace, assurance, gratitude, and love as the divine embodiment of my ideal self. And so, it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
