Treatment - And the Light Shines

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. – Job 22:28 KJV

Decree a thing is to announce a desire as an accomplished fact; to establish in thought; to declare in mind; to affirm; to believe; to know; to accept.
– Ernest Holmes Glossary New Thought Dictionary

And the Light Shines

The Divine Presence, that I AM which is the only I AM and which is the Source and Substance of my existence lives as me in complete integral harmony with the rest of the Universe. I turn to It within in silent communion and discover my vision, which draws me into ever greater life and joyful freedom.

My vision reveals my deepest desires and hopes clearly to me as a guiding light that shows me all I require and the means to accomplish them. My vision, my light within, inspired by the Divine Presence becomes my immediate conscious reality. I choose that reality over all other possibilities, accept it as mine now, and delight in it even as it unfolds in perfect order and wonderful synchronies. I am my highest and best life now and the inner light of wisdom and faith shines upon my life to show me the more and better it contains for me.

I praise my life and my world for the love, intelligence, and beauty they show me. I praise the Presence as It reveals Itself in everyone I meet. I praise the flow of my experience of unhurried quiet confident moments of happy living. Today is the day that God has made, I accept all its blessings with profound gratitude. The Light shines upon me and before me; and so, it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
