Saturday Treatment - Rethinking Me

When we have a belief that we are a certain way, we tend to think thoughts that are in alignment with that belief, we take actions that are directed by those thoughts, and we get corresponding results. Our belief about who we are determines the results we get. – Robert MacPhee Manifesting for Non Gurus

The attitude we assume in mind determines the success of the prayer. Consequently, when we pray or give a spiritual treatment something will happen which will exactly correspond to our mental state of acceptance and embodiment. – Ernest Holmes Creative Living

Rethinking Me

I set aside the cares and concerns before me to focus my whole mind in bare attention upon the Presence of Spirit as Love and Law. I let Spirit teach me my true self as It fills me with instant awareness of my divinity in the divine nature of the Universe. From this level of consciousness, I recreate my beliefs about myself, my world, and my life within that world. Knowing that Spirit and I are a single unit inclusive of all that is allows me to accept the beneficial presence of everyone and everything.

As I rethink myself, I discover that my basis is perfect life, perfect mind, and perfect expression so, I now enjoy energetic vitality, clarity and focus of thought, and effective efficient action in every moment. The action of Spirit as my constant loving Guide and as the Law, which executes my accepting thoughts as commands for the good of my world and myself make my life a flow of ease and grace. In rethinking me, I discover a gentle easy way of being in the world, which accepts and allows beyond judgment everything as it is existing in support of the highest good.

I recognize and appreciate the gifts I give and the gifts I receive, knowing that in that act of recognition I enhance my belief in my worthiness of all the joy, delight, and prosperity, which is Spirit’s endowment upon me. Living gratefully, I release my treatment, my affirmative declarative prayer to the Law of Love-in-Action, which takes it and makes it so now and so it is.

Rev. John Lusk

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
