Should we ask why the universe works the way it does? No, it is a waste of time to ask why. We have discovered the universal principle of Law and how it works. Our job is to use the Law to achieve desired results. – Ernest Holmes Science of Mind   

Doing the Job

The one Omniactive Presence is Love/Intelligence: Love because Its sole urge is for life and more life expression; Intelligence because all It does immediately in thought evolves always in an orderly logical progression. I see that same divine urge and perfect order in and through all life as beauty and harmony. I see this because I am in and of the Divine as It is in and encompassing my world and myself.

Inseparable from this Divine, my thoughts proceed from my desires as images of my choice, which direct the Law to produce the good I seek as the good I realize and experience. I choose health and prosperity, creative means to express and enjoy my experience of this world. My work is my play. I do my job with open willingness that any good I seek is available to us all and I trust that my choices uplift my household, community, and world. The Law, of course, corresponds to my choice and provides me lavish and abundant return, which I gladly share.

Doing the job is living with peace, assurance, gratitude, and love, which I do for the sheer joy of being alive at this time in this place. Being here now is beyond question my springboard to greater life and love. I now release my whole self to the Law, knowing that as I am in harmony with Love It returns my thoughts to me as my wonderful reality. And, so it is.
