Being Your Vision – Calling Prosperity

Enthusiasm is an exaltation of soul. A lively manifestation of zeal. A keen interest in people and things at home and abroad; it has been called “The Fortune-Teller of Life.” Enthusiasm is compelling, and sweeps everything before it. The root word from which we get enthusiasm actually means “inspired” and one truly filled with enthusiasm is like one inspired, as if possessed with a divine power..., which one actually is. We become enthused in the consciousness that we are God-sustained and filled with God-power. Such consciousness makes our enthusiasm irresistible. – Ernest Holmes Science of Mind

What if we answered every call that we receive as if that call is the one that brings us what we need to prosper in all things? The five or more telemarketers who call my number daily would be surprised at my enthusiasm as I answered. Of course, as soon as I know that what they present is not for me I politely end the call. But, even some of the most farfetched offers remind me that I am constantly thinking and constantly inducing thoughts of prosperity, which attract ways to use my wealth or care for my health that I never thought of before.

The timeshare folks spark my desire to travel. Construction companies, HVAC, and handymen remind me that prosperity includes expert care and repair of my home. Pick a product or survey and I will find something connected that affirms my prosperity if only my willingness to allow that these people whose calls often come when I am busy contribute to the economy that allows me financial freedom.

Yes, all of the above is a stretch of the imagination, a mind game; but my mind, which is my use of divine Mind calls prosperity to me through the power of my thoughts selecting my experiences and allowing the infinite Mind as Law to bring to me every good thing I require. We are constantly calling to us the people, things, and events that we dwell upon in our thoughts. When we allow our enthusiasm free reign with our imagination and we play a game of hide and seek with our desires, we discover that they become clearly visible in every scenario that we conceive of and that the desires we expect show up quite speedily, sometimes, in surprising ways.

Zeal for life and all of the adventures of living makes us dynamic and vigorous. It reveals love in so many ways and calls love back to us. Who doesn’t love being with a truly enthusiastic lover of life? Zeal for life is an inside job. We create it for ourself despite any circumstance. Each of us is as powerful, perhaps more powerful than the brilliant yellow dandelion that breaks through the solid sidewalk one cell at a time as it grows from hidden seed to glorious maturity.

I call upon my divinity, my Oneness in Spirit. Spirit answers in, through, and as me, and as all other sentient beings to bring to me the prosperity that I know as mine. Daily contemplating Spirit, I realize increase in my prosperity, which I attract by zeal and zest for living. I receive my own, release my own to serve me, and watch it increase wonderfully. By gratitude, I claim it and so it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
