Being Your Vision – Specialize Prosperity

We have a perfect right to use it for personal advancement and to bring happiness and success into our experience. We should use law definitely and with full assurance that this seed of conscious thought will be received by a creative intelligence which will produce a harvest that we can reap in due season.
– Ernest Holmes Can We Talk to God

Prosperity is a specific view of a universal law of cause and effect, which exists to us only as a latent possibility until we specialize it. The generality with which the world speaks of prosperity makes it seem as if it has almost every meaning from sinful covetous greed to self-realized, fearless, empowered, and generous life styles. When we recognize that prosperity is the beginning, the process, and the result, we become free to choose our unique prosperity experience.

We want to impose two limits on our use of prosperity as the law of cause and effect in our lives. First, our choices must be in harmony with all natural law or else we encounter blocks and problems at every point where there is disharmony. Second, because of the nature of all cause and effect, what we seek for others returns to us so we must only seek the wellbeing of everyone we think of while working mentally for our own personal prosperity experience. True prosperity knows no competition or opposition but reveals that we all are essential to the best life for each other.

A consciousness of Spirit is our supply. This consciousness contains nothing of conflict and everything of mutual benefit. Salute, praise, and bless anyone’s success. Did someone buy the house you wanted? Did someone receive the promotion you desired? Did the “love of your life” leave you and marry another? You may not know now and you may not know how but those occurrences opened your way to greater prosperity than you dreamed.

Specializing prosperity means that we select the home, family, and career that is our own. It means that we define our experience with detailed description but without names, addresses, or any other limitations. In demonstrating various objects and experiences in my own life, I discovered that describing in detail or vividly visualizing me desire, I shifted my awareness to discover what I desired in ways that often surprised me but always matched and enhanced what I thought about.

My mental equivalents or spiritual prototypes always include that what I wish to demonstrate manifests in loving quiet ways. In that way, I eliminate any chance of conflict. I always claim my own, which means I know that it is new or if used as in a fine home, it is on the market at my price and terms when I am ready to buy. I look for my good that comes through others as prospering all involved.

When I need a specific amount of money, I claim it and receive it. When I lift myself to the idea of cash and carry financial freedom, I find ready cash and interestingly, many gifts. If I admire the way someone looks, I affirm that I find clothing and my own pleasing look but I don’t seek theirs. I specify my own prosperity my way and enjoy it.

I am aware of my consciousness of Spirit as my supply so I continually expand my consciousness of Spirit and discover Spirit in all people and things. Now, I clearly specialize my consciousness of Spirit as prosperity; and the prosperity law of cause and effect reveal to me and bring me to my own unique prosperity and so it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
