The Consciousness of God must be expressed, hence the
relative. Time, space, outline, form, change, movement, action and reaction,
manifestation and creation, all are relative, but all are real – not apart
from, but within the Absolute. Relativity subsists within existence, and
inherent Life is potential and latent with limitless possibilities. The
relative and the Absolute do not contradict each other.

of Mind
Good is correctly directed vision. Evil is misdirected
vision. The potential for all things exists now – has always existed – as the infinite
Being of God, which is our life, our intelligence, our love, and our source for
complete personal prosperity. Prosperity is; it always is. What we see and
experience, which seems unlike prosperity, is the result of ignorance of this
truth.
If God is infinite prosperity always present, and the very
life we live, why are we ignorant? My best answer for now – because I continually
increase in understanding – is that we discover potential within ourselves when
we look clearly at ourselves and our experiences. We humans continue to evolve.
Our evolution depends upon and increases our awareness of what we “know” or
believe now, which has been progressively expanding throughout the existence of
human kind. Awareness progresses as the more that we know, the more that we
know how to know.
I enjoy the cooking at a particular restaurant, which presents
such a great variety on its menu that I was confused and indecisive about my choices,
the first few times I went. Finally, instead of becoming lost in the
possibilities, I asked my waiter if I could get what I felt like eating and
after he assured me that I could, ordering was much simpler from then on. Much
like this menu, life presents us with such complex varieties of choices, that at
times we encounter difficulty choosing and even make choices that don’t work
well for us. We can always ask for assistance.
I always include this quote from Ernest Holmes below my
signature on emails and articles I write, “First you ask definitely for
direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in
your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It
answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every
difficulty.” This is my key for unlocking my particular best of all
possibilities when I look at the infinite potential available to me.
Though science makes the case that we are predisposed by
genetics and experience to certain experiences, our lives are not
predetermined, but in fact, subject to our conscious awareness and the choices
we make. More than merely attracting events, people, and objects, our choices
shift our attention to the people, objects, and events that have always
accompanied us and which we are now ready to enjoy. God does not fulfill our
needs because we have no needs because everything we could possibly needs
already exists awaiting our discovery of its potential and our realization of
its tangible reality within us.
Now in the quiet of my contemplation, I open my mind to potentials
yet unrealized for me. I shift my focus completely from what I no longer wish
to experience to what I see as fulfilling my life. My entire fulfillment has
always existed. Now, I become conscious of it and in doing so I realize my
potential in conscious demonstration and tangible manifestation of my prosper
it and so it is.
