We are born with an urge to express life. We are born with a desire to unite our living with others, to enjoy people and to live creatively. It seems as though something dynamic entered into us when we were born, an impulse to participate in the joy of living and to give vent to those thoughts and feelings, those emotional urges, and impulses, which every normal person has. – Ernest Holmes Practical Wisdom
No matter what our emotional storm or what our objective situation may be, there is always a something hidden in the inner capacity of our being that never has been violated. We may stumble, but always there is that Eternal Voice forever whispering within our ear, that Thing which causes the eternal quest, that Thing which forever sings and sings. – Ernest Holmes Religious Science
I Participate in All Life
There is this Thing called Life, which is all that exists, and which now exists as my life. It is perfect therefor my life too is perfect now and always. Another way of understanding this is that there is only One, that One is Spirit. I am, so I am Spirit as me living through me by means of my recognition of Its presence within and all around me as my sole source and substance, as my spirit, my mind, and my body my entire reality.
As I participate more in the spirituality of my life, I let go of both my past attachments and resentments and anxiety about what is next. I play joyfully with this moment while listening carefully to my inner voice as it speaks to me, guides me, and sings new songs for me. I may dance to Its music or sit in silent reverence as I acknowledge Its presence with me. Regardless of my current activity or intended goals, I rely upon and trust in Spirit for all I require so, I enjoy each moment in quiet confident acceptance of all the goodness it offers me. Whether I walk in Nature in the woods or by a lake, stream, or ocean or even along a city street I enjoy the comfortable uplifting companionship of Spirit with me. My days and nights fill with blessings I gladly share.
The boundless grandeur of Spirit reveals itself increasingly to me as I now embrace ever-more of my spiritual nature and thrive fully in peace, assurance, gratitude, and love. I participate in the best of my life with wonder and delight. And so, it is.

“First
you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a
definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will
give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is
the solution to every difficulty. It is like the sunlight of eternal truth
bursting through the clouds of obscurity and bathing the whole world in glory.
It is the absolute that you are dealing with and nothing else.” - Ernest Holmes
