Saturday Treatment - I Am Fifty-One Percent Uplifted and Climbing

When fifty-one percent of our thinking is of health and abundance and joy, that day the fifty-one percent will erase the rest. The day that anyone of us, as an individual, through fifty-one percent of our thought, passes beyond the perception of limitation, we will draw out of the spiritual Universe everything good that we desire. The day we think fifty-one percent of happiness, misery shall depart and never return. Is it not then worth our time and effort, and should it not be the greatest purpose in life to so express the Spirit within as to emancipate ourselves? Ernest Holmes The Spiritual Universe and You (Willis Kinnear, Editor)

We all need to believe in ourselves as divinely guided, God-directed human beings anchored in deep spirituality. When we do so and practice thinking clearly and with openness to Good, our entire lives change. We may begin to live lives of more beauty than we had ever imagined. How wonder-filled might our lives become when we discover that we have more to say about the kinds of experiences we may enjoy? – Rev. Saturday Treatment - I Am Fifty-One Percent Uplifted and Climbing

Sometimes I need to remind myself how wonderful my life is so, I take this time to focus on my deep understanding that while I am certainly not all that God is, God is all that I am and have in my consciousness and my reality. I dwell in this truth. I let it show me my highest and best choices. I yield to the actions this truth moves me to take. I accept the reality that my best to date is here now and getting better with every moment I spend in this grateful acceptance.

I see that while the grace of God is always available at all times to all people, I must consciously choose to accept the gifts that flow out of that grace into my life. I look at the good in my life and praise it. That good grows as if it were a well-tended rose which brings me constant beauty and continuous wonder and delight at the richness of my life reality. I see that richness in the commerce of the city streets, in the woods, by the ocean, even in my local market and feel the joy that my fifty-one percent affirmative mental and spiritual outlook brings my world up to fifty-one percent as well.

I think Jesus intended us all to understand: "I, if I be lifted up shall draw all others unto me." meant that wherever any of us find uplift we automatically lift others with us. That is the way I choose to live. God's grace makes it so. And so, it is.

Rev. John Lusk RScP

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty. It is like the sunlight of eternal truth bursting through the clouds of obscurity and bathing the whole world in glory. It is the absolute that you are dealing with and nothing else.” - Ernest Holmes
