Saturday Treatment - The Earth is the Lord’s and the Fullness Thereof

Yet what are seas and what is air? For all
Is God, and but a talisman are heaven and earth
To veil Divinity. For heaven and earth,
Did He not permeate them, were but names;
Know then, that both this visible world and that
Which unseen is, alike are God Himself,
Naught is, save God: and all that is, is God.

All the manifested world of things and beings are projected by imagination upon the substratum, which is the Eternal All-pervading Vishnu, whose nature is Existence-Intelligence; just as the different ornaments are all made out of the same gold. - Adi Shankara (8-9th century non-dual master philosopher and sage.)

The Earth is the Lord’s and the Fullness Thereof

I recognize an infinite Presence, all wise, all-knowing, all-powerful as the Source and Substance of all creation including planet Earth and all within and upon it. This Presence is Life Itself therefore Its whole existence is the essence of every lifeform from the most minute subatomic particle to the Cosmos Itself. All Its action is for the good of Its entirety. That good, despite seeming chaos and decay, ensures the continuity, harmony, and coherence of the stars, atoms, planets, and beings that It expresses. I am, we are, the Earth is that Presence.

I make this prayerful affirmation expecting the results I claim in such perfect quiet confidence that I act in accord and harmony with this Presence as I declare that the Earth is whole and perfect now and that the chaotic symptoms of this moment are the right action of the Presence upon Itself ensuring the evolving perfection of Itself as planet Earth. Forms change, come, and go while the Life that creates and lives them continues forever new and always thriving despite what seems to be. I yield myself as willing participant in this wonderful play of Life upon Itself. I use It by living. It uses me by ensuring that as I live, I thrive. I uplift the world around me.

Now, I focus on the perfect Whole in which I dwell. Now, I reap the reward of peace, assurance, gratitude, and love which brings me with grace and ease into my life of joy. And so, it is.
