My Soul Awakes as New Days Dawn

Our birth is but sleep and a forgetting;
The Soul that rises with us, our life's star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting
And cometh from afar;
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come From God, who is our home.
- Wordsworth

No person walks through this life alone, and all people are lonely until they meet the One who is awake within their sleeping consciousness. - Ernest Holmes New Horizons

My Soul Awakes as New Days Dawn

As I settle myself for a good night of sleep, I recall the One that never sleeps. Always awake to Itself within me, It heals and restores me to my perfect self for, perfection is Its nature and I am/we are Its natural result of Self-Contemplation. The One always aware of Itself as us and as all that is in spiritual, potential and material reality constantly creates anew and sustains and maintains Its creation.

My soul awakes to the Presence of that One as new days dawn with the gifts of God which I gladly share. They are the natural result of my prospering word which I speak to every need or desire with calm confidence of their fulfillment in fact. So, I celebrate my time of sleep as a spiritual weapon against the seeming aloneness and as the healing process of my mind and body. I wake refreshed, restored, rejuvenated, and re-energized with enthusiasm for the activities of my day. I find loving companionship at work and play. Wealth and opportunity are my constant companions, Joy of life is my increasingly constant mindset.

I wake to live so; I live carefree and uplifted every day. This that I claim now is available to all who accept it. I know more and more accept it each day, so my world becomes enlightened and refreshed. I accept that this is true. I feel glad and grateful for this truth, let it be, for so it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
