I Create My Living Faith

Faith can be acquired by conscious, definite, deliberate methods of procedure in your own mind—so simple that a child five years old can understand it; so profound that no philosopher who ever lived can refute it; so demonstrable that no scientific mind can successfully repudiate it; We learn to have faith, that we may demonstrate it – Ernest Holmes Holmes’ Papers

Life gives us our blessings through our beliefs and through our thoughts, so let us see that the thoughts that flow into our consciousness are of the highest good.

I Create My Living Faith

We can start an epidemic of perfect health one persona at a time. I believe this with heart, mind, and intuition. I receive my confirmation in silent moments of communion with the Absolute, which responds to my fervent listening with quiet assurance and profound action in my body and the body of my affairs. For after all, regardless of anyone’s doubt, my faith results from my turning to this All-Encompassing Source of all life living as my life now with perfection and vitality transcending all else.

One in Life, I am one in touch with limitless vitality. I carry this ideal with me throughout my day and bring it to mind wherever I am whatever I do in my work, play, worship, and rest. Symptoms I see or hear about are meaningless facts to me except that I know by my faith I may rise above them – by faith, we may all rise above them. My prayerful affirmation then is my deep conviction that my connection with Life preserves my health and my strength and, my truth belongs to all who choose to embrace and live it.

I create my living faith as I separate myself from statistical fact and from the opinions of the people around me then embrace the Presence of Perfect Life as the Absolute Reality and make that my way of being in the world but not of it. So, I live in complete peace, assurance, gratitude, and love. Joyfully I accept this now for so, it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
