Mental treatment is an act, art, and science. It is an act, being
the conscious activity of thought; it is an art in that there must be feeling,
appreciation, and realization; it is a science, in that it deals with a
mathematical law of cause and effect. – Ernest Holmes Glossary

I Accept the Flow
I enter in to the
activity of expectation and acceptance of the flow of life and abundance in my
life now by turning away from every seeming blockage to focus my whole
attention upon the Presence, Spirit the infinite Love/Intelligence that is the
Source, Substance, and absolute Reality of all that is. That Love/Intelligence
conceived me, contains me, and sustains me as spiritual and human being. It
delights in my success and fulfillment because being the All It knows Itself as
completion in flow.
I feel that
Presence in every moment, every encounter. It comforts and inspires me from
within with uplifting thoughts and ideas of wonderfully varied yet always
fulfilling possibilities. I enter into that feeling with praise and
appreciation as I select my favorite possibilities and declare them into clear
images of success, vitality, love, and prosperity for my community, my family,
and myself. Now, I delight in the flowing experience of thoughts as they become
the things and events I thought of as my ideal.
My word of
declaration is my contribution to cause in harmony with the Original Cause of
me. It moves my cause into effect, which exactly corresponds to my total
mindset of active thought, receptive feeling, and engaging appreciation that
brings to me and brings me to my dreams fulfilled. With relaxed ease and grace,
I confidently accept this flow of my reality as it unfolds in divine and
certain order for so it does and so it is.
Rev. John Lusk RScP
“First you ask
definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite
thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you
back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the
solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
