Being Your Vision – Realize Prosperity

Live, love and laugh! Let the heart be glad and free; rejoice in the thought of life and be happy. Realize God, in and through all, and unify with the Whole. Why take fragments when the Whole is here for the asking? – Ernest Holmes Science of Mind

Reality cannot be experienced or imagined; it can, however, be realized. – Thomas Hora, M.D.

The root meaning of experience is Latin for “from trial (or test).” Realize on the other hand comes from Latin roots that mean to make known again. When our images and our feelings or emotions connected with those feelings become so much a part of our experience that we accept them as real, we then base our actions and stake our lives on ideals that we have conjured into reality. There is however, a Reality that exists above and beyond all imagination or experience, which when we know It, It frees us to thrive in harmony with every person, thing, and event.

I enjoyed a personal example of turning an experience of my life into reality when I used an exercise in gratitude from Rhonda Byrne’s book, Magic. I recommend reading her book and doing all of the exercises in gratitude it contains.

I reviewed my life, which included some unhappy times and resentment about them. Her instruction was to look for times when I had received the benefit of money spent for my wellbeing, then feel and express my gratitude at each incident I recalled. As I moved forward from early childhood to adulthood, my experience of my parents and my life changed. I soon saw that my upkeep required lots of money, which my Dad needed to earn by working, and that he despite depression era childhood, overcame most of his financial fears to spend for our home, food, and clothing. I suddenly understood that because of a physical problem I had, he had had to spend thousands in extra medical bills. Gratitude and release welled up within me. Now, I am freer than I have ever been before and I realize how well I was cared for.

My former experiences in which I imagined a lack of love and care transformed into my reality that I am and always have been someone worthy of love and I received wonderful love and care. All former misunderstandings dissolve in the light of my new realization of prosperity.

I realize Spirit as my Source now by turning from all that seems to be to focus on all that is real and spiritually discerned. Things and memories of my imagination dissolve away or reveal to me their true nature as I look with gratitude on whom and where I am now. My world is Spirit being present for my benefit and I for its benefit in mutual prosperity arrangement. Harmony, peace, assurance, gratitude, and love fill my consciousness and transform my whole life into a delight and a blessing. I realize this all now with my grateful heart for so it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
