Treatment is the art, the act,
and the science of consciously inducing thought within the Universal
Subjectivity, for the purpose of demonstrating that we are surrounded by a
Creative Medium, which responds to us through a law of correspondence. In its
more simple meaning, treatment is the time, process, and method necessary to
the changing of our thought. Treatment is clearing the thought of negation, of
doubt and fear, and causing it to

All treatments should be stated
in the simplest possible manner. In this way, they will be more meaningful to
the one making the statements, and therefore the statements will have more
power. – Ernest Holmes Glossary new Thought Dictionary
“Keep It Simple Sell.” That is
always the best advice for showing others the value of any idea, product, or service.
A business English teacher told our class that memos written in language more
complicated than third grade understanding were almost useless because busy
executives skimmed for hot words and often ignored embedded data. Our own
subjective mind responds better to simple easy to recall direction than to
detailed instruction.
Too often, we miss this idea of
simplicity in achieving prosperity through spiritual practice, even as we down
ourselves with short one word exclamations like “idiot,” “fool,” or worse when
we think we have made a mistake. The best practice for simple prosperity
thinking is direct statements of our desires in present tense as we feel the
glow of owning and achieving them. Once we know what we want, once we decide
that we can and ought to have it, and then we claim it as ours now.
Be specific about your desire
while unconcerned about how it shows up. If you want a new home or car, claim
it in detail, with all of the extras and all of the good that goes with it.
When someone asks you what you are working on spiritually, keep it to yourself.
When you attain your desire then relate the process and events. Your success emphatically
denies anyone’s claim of impossibility and reinforces your own ability to
repeat the process.
The prophet Isaiah, who said that
his word would prosper and bear fruit even as he spoke it, also said that we
have instruction from God to command God to accomplish our good desires.
Understand that we reap what we sow, that karma is a blessing or a curse
depending on our intention. If we seek to harm or limit another through thought,
word, or act, then we harm and limit ourselves in equal degree. We solve this
when we desire what another has simply by stating that there is enough for all
to have equal value, use, and enjoyment of life or that upon achieving our
desire that other achieves his or her own greater desire and life experience.
Simply, know the best about all and thus ensure the best for all.
I acknowledge Spirit as Infinite
Source as I know that Source as my life and treasury. In the same manner that I
instruct a firm to work for me in doing what they do best, I now command the
Law to accomplish for me and through me all of the desires of my heart. I
decree my word as a seed of prosperity whose fruits prosper all involved. I
receive my prosperity lavishly and abundantly by all natural means. Gratefully I
accept it and so it is.

“First
you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a
definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will
give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is
the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
