The wonderful person you are
looking for really is the Divinity hidden within you - God as you. What you are
looking for you are looking with.

To know what you know and to know
what you don’t know, that is real wisdom.
― Confucius, The Analects
I know that I desire to live in a
certain place, in a certain type of dwelling, with a particular type of view. I
know that what I desire exists and that it can exist for me. As soon as I know
that I am the person who lives there and who enjoys life there, I know that my desire
establishes as my emerging experience. What I don’t know and what is none of my
business at this time is the ways and means that move me from here to there
physically.
Holmes always went directly to
the infinite Knower within. He presented his question as a statement that his
answer to every problem and to each particular need was something that this
Knower knew within him and he knew it in such a way that he could rely on that
knowledge to transform him, his life, and his circumstances to meet every need
and good desire.
Confucius relied on the ancient
Chinese oracle, the I Ching for similar wisdom. Hidden within its often obscure
pronouncements, the sincere seeker finds personal insight and understanding.
The sincere seeker wisely knows his or her level of ignorance, wisely knows
that there are infinite ways and means available, and wisely surrenders to
inner guidance to discover the way from desire and question to fulfillment and
answer.
What farmer knows the workings of
the seed that become a bumper cash crop? What physician truly knows how DNA
replicates itself to heal our cells and restore our health? Every day countless
simultaneous events occur in every life. The ancient Chinese, both Taoist and
Confucianist alike referred to this as the “ten-thousand things.” Our human
brain actually processes billions of bits of data every minute and we do not
know nor need to know every bit.
What must we know? We must know
that our desires, our needs, in fact, all of our experiences reveal who we know
that we are. We must know that if what we experience today is not satisfactory,
that is a signal that we are ready to be more and that hidden within us is the
potential to grow and become the person who always prospers and has fulfilling
experiences.
Our hidden prosperity only seems
hidden because it is growing and manifesting at the level of our consciousness
that automatically processes the ten-thousand things. It reveals itself to us in
thousands of ways but we must decide to see it and then decide to enjoy it in
order to enjoy openly prosperous lives
I plant the seeds of my desire in
my mind and water them with my expectation. I know now, that they grow secretly
within me and waking or sleeping my automatic processing, the Law of Mind in
action produces my crop of mature fulfilled desires as my open experience of
prosperity. I freely use and share my good for I know that as I circulate it,
it returns to me multiplied and expanded beyond my knowing how and so it is.

“First
you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a
definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will
give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is
the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
