Treatment - I Am My Daily Bread

Step Four: We declare our deepest desires. Give us our daily bread... Our “daily bread” is whatever we desire, whenever we desire it. It is God who gives. We must be willing receivers. We don’t receive our good at the expense of others. As we receive, we give back. We create a flowing channel of giving and receiving. – Ernest Holmes “Give Us This Day”

I Am My Daily Bread

In the quiet chapel of my mind, silently, without ceremony or fanfare, I choose to give, I choose to receive. I am direct and clear in the process as I release all need for ceremony or fuss. I know that Spirit hears and answers those who ask clearly and with open mind and heart to receive. I go direct, make my claim in clear specific terms, and know that what I receive is exactly what I claim.

My mind is both the Mind that hears and answers, and the mind that makes the claim. I enter a state of loving appreciation for all that is and for all that I have known, and with quiet acceptance, I claim all of the good that I require and desire, knowing that it includes that all good for all involved. All of my winnings have no losers because I include all people as the spiritual expression of my good, without whom, I lack completeness. I now release every designation or description of how I fit into diversity and embrace my spiritual nature, which reveals that I am a unique representative of the One, Unity. This is both my highest giving and my blessed receiving.

I am now my daily bread, gift, giver, and given. Withholding from none, I share myself with my entire world. I give freely and receive lavish abundant visible daily supply, which aids my giving and keeps the cycle running smoothly. God’s promise is my life today. I love it and I live it now.

Rev. John Lusk

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
