Being Your Vision – Prosperity Yearning

What you must strive after is being. In order to do, it is necessary to be. The end of yearning is to be. Your concept of yourself can only be driven out by yourself. By creating an ideal in your mind, you can identify yourself with it until you become one and the same with the ideal, thereby transforming yourself into it.
– Neville The Power of Awareness

Neville goes on to say that, we must be active and dynamic in the way we live for dynamic active people are both more magnetic in their attractiveness and more creative in both their idealizing and their follow through actions to make their ideal real in their experience. Goethe, Thoreau, and so many other icons of the philosophies of success agree that bold action draws to us providential assistance and synchronizes our efforts with others for exponentially greater prosperity than merely affirming and going through the motions could ever do.

Begin small and double your efforts as you attain greater understanding. The story of the Indian wise man who invented chess is a good illustration. The ruler was so grateful that he offered the wise man a reward of his choice. The wise man being, well, wise, requested a single grain of rice on the first square of the chess board with two on the next square and the amount doubles on each square thereafter. That is a lot of rice and the wise man became a rich man too.

Long before you get to the 63 day of doubling your efforts, you will see that you are already prosperous beyond any dream you have ever had. Think of anything that you desire to be, to do, or to have. Dwell on the desire as if what you seek is what you are and especially dwell in the feelings of achievement, contentment, and satisfaction. Take any physical action that you can think of to make your desire into your reality. No, it does not have to be the most difficult first. Maybe all you need the first day is to read about or talk to someone who is being, doing, or having what you want to find out how they did it. Then do any of what they did that you know how to do.

Any skill can be learned. Given the talent or aptitude, anyone can master the skills of any line of work or creative endeavor. The primary question for achieving the life prosperity we yearn for, is, “Who am I with my talents, skills, values, and interests and what do I want to contribute?” When we know who we are, we can bring out and achieve our full potential and the process, though at times may seem difficult proves to be our favorite game to play and we always win.

Our yearning for prosperity of any kind is Spirit’s willingness for us to enjoy that prosperity now because as much as we enjoy is as much as Spirit enjoys us. I relax, sit back, and think of my life as I desire it becoming the reality of every minute. In my mind and heart, I open to receive in full measure, all that Spirit has to give through me. My life is now a delight of discovery. Gratefully I let it be and so it is.
