Being Your Vision – Prosperity Enlargement

If anyone could tell you the shortest, surest way to all happiness and all perfection, he must tell you to make it a rule to thank and praise God for everything that happens to you. For it is certain that whatever seeming calamity happens to you, if you thank and praise God for it, you turn it to a blessing. Could you, therefore work miracles, you could not do more for yourself than by this thankful spirit; for it turns all that it touches into happiness. – William Law

We enlarge our awareness and experience of prosperity through thankful living. By gratitude in both “good” and “bad” times, we set our thoughts in motion to always reveal the way to our best results, those results, which support us and sustain us in prosperous living. Deliberately praise the unexpected expense as a sign of impending unexpected income. If we are truly grateful, we are affirming and accepting the blessing in the seeming curse. Otherwise, we are affirming that we now live under that curse.

Change every evil, every darkness to the brightest way showing light by praising its presence in life and its appearance at just the right time. Civilization as we know it continues to evolve to higher levels of spirituality, humanitarianism, philosophy, art, and science through the adversity we civilized humans continue to create. Every dark period produces leaders and genius to guide and lift us to higher levels. What if we discovered that we could evolve to higher levels without adversity?

We can as a matter of individual choice. As more people accept their ability and the responsibility to choose how they see life and what they see in life, then more of us will experience prosperity enlargement. Some, who have discovered this for themselves, seek to give it away and we ignore them. Others, realizing that we believe that it can only be valuable to us if it carries a cost, charge for their guidance and people condemn them for being greedy.

The largest obstacle we face is our own tendency to believe that we are unworthy of prosperity and that adversity is naturally bad luck, which only a few avoid because they are lucky. Luck is a matter of observation, a matter of looking up clearly knowing intention and environment. A friend noticed some hikers who were so intent on the pathway that they missed the beauty all around them. Worried about a fall, they missed the grandeur of it all.

Seeing yes and no, good or bad, with equal peace of mind and gratitude, frees us to see the blessing and the possibilities for prosperity in every situation. With interest only in the spiritual good, we discover the world and all of its experiences are always beneficial to all of us. We learn to live free of judgment, filled with compassion, charged with enthusiasm, and mindful of God’s gifts of grace right beside our own gifts of service as ever-enlarging prosperity.

Now I turn in gratitude to the beloved Presence and behold It in Its entire works and in all of the stories that we humans live today. I see the bright promise and blessings in all of the best and in all of the seeming worst, knowing that in loving the good of God, all things work together for my good. I praise my life now with all of its ups and downs; and my life returns to me abundant prosperity and so it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
