Being Your Vision – Prosperity Reboot

There is an infinite reservoir of Life within us. We may block Its passage; we may short-cut Its current, but the reservoir is still there and the flow is always ready to resume its course when we re-open the channels. Our problem is not with Life Itself, but with the use we are making of It.
– Ernest Holmes This Thing Called Life

We achieve a major goal or perhaps, we enter into a slow period when little or nothing seems to progress us. Our tendency is to relax or stop working altogether in the belief that something will come along to inspire us. These are signs that it is time for us to connect more definitely with Spirit, download new firmware as in spiritual fortitude, and restart ourselves just as we would a computer that we updated.

This may mean that we take more time each day or several entire days to spend in meditation, examination, treatment, and deliberate acceptance to recharge our mindfulness of Spirit’s Presence within us, reestablish our attitudes of enthusiasm and thanksgiving, and reenergize our actions. Usually, this self-directed retreat advances me farther and faster than if I just keep plugging away without rebooting myself at my new level.

During the time I was working 60 to 80 hour weeks, I used to joke to my friends, “I can’t stop because if I stop, I’ll drop.” Then I had a brief illness that showed me I could stop, care for myself, revitalize, and move on refreshed. I remembered a character from a book explaining to a person he was guarding that sleep is a weapon and rest is an excellent defense. When we factor in spiritual reconnection, we empower ourselves to new heights of life and prosperity.

I like to read or reread selections that remind me of the meaning of Spirit’s Presence in terms of enlightenment and enrichment of life and then spend quiet time contemplating what I read and applying it to me and to my situations. I incorporate moments of rapt listening or sensing for new awareness with musing about the meaning and import of what I read and the author’s inspiration for it with thoughts my own life enhancements. When I am clear about what I desire, I make direct simple statements claiming that what I desire is now the results unfolding from my words and release those statements to Spirit as Law, which makes them my reality.

Soon, events begin to move me into the new situations and circumstances I choose. I discover new avenues of expression and new experiences as I meet new people with common goals and interests who work with me to further my dreams.

I renew the knowledge of constant God Presence as I reboot my mindset to embrace even greater heights of awareness. Now, I draw upon the infinite wealth of the Universe as I consciously choose and accept new ideas and reach for greater expression of my highest and best qualities of being. I feel rejuvenated and recharged from my reconnection with my spiritual nature. In gratitude, I embrace a new me and so it is.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
