Boldly I speak my word and in
calm confidence, in quietness, with peace and with enthusiastic expectancy
accept the perfect fulfillment of this word. I know that it cannot return to me
void. It must awaken everything I entertain in my consciousness into a newness
of life because the creative Law of Mind, which executes my word, is infinite
and has all power to accomplish.

Awareness
We honor and admire those men and women who boldly dare to
act, even defiantly, in the face of seemingly overwhelming opposition. Why then
don’t more of us emulate them? Popular psychology, ancient and modern religious
traditions, and the most profound philosophies all proclaim that there is a
Power greater than we are but that we can use It for our good; and if we
surrender to It, It will use us for our greatest good.
All sacred literature calls for a radical reliance on God, a
complete trust that the Divine meets every need with lavish abundance. We
barely trust ourselves or the systems we have put in place to assist us. What
gives? Why such a spread between? I don’t believe there is a single answer but
I do believe that we may have warred and terrorized ourselves into a state of apathy. Why should anyone try so hard at life only to have it all lost in a
single violent act?
There is a mistake in that line of thought. Only by being
audaciously bold in our active daily lives can we transform our world to a
place of peace and plenty for us all with sufficient to satisfy any appetite
for power or wealth. I favor the enlightened self-interest approach that says, “I
will do my best to give you my best so I may receive your best in return.”
Let anyone begin to live this way
with radical authenticity and radical reliance on the Divine and soon he or she
finds a circle of receiver/supporters who echo that practice. How long would it
take to create a community our a country that lives this way? Legislation cannot
make this happen. Social engineering and efforts to coerce children or adults
to believe that it is better to work for others and receive a pittance in
return so everyone has a little continuously fail. But, individuals discovering
that by working for their own best interests must include the best interests of
their clients, vendors, and coworkers have the power to transform this world
with ease.
Boldly go where no one usually
goes. Trust everyone to be innocent at heart. Speak cheerfully and lovingly to
everyone you meet. Will that make you rich? Probably not in a monetary sense;
probably yes in the sense of discovering that far more of us care for each
other and desire each other’s wellbeing that we ever noticed before. Now, take
that new understanding and audaciously recruit everyone in supporting you in
supporting them.
I declare my trust in Spirit. I
declare that Spirit uses me in living well; so I may add to the blessings and
wonder of every life I touch. I realize that we are all a continuous One that
seems separate because we see each other in physical form but our spiritual
reality is all as One and One as all so I live accordingly and see the good of
Spirit in all and for all now. And so it is.

“First
you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a
definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will
give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is
the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
