Being Your Vision – Durable Prosperity

Duration is … self-contained and therefore self-renewing movement of an organized whole, taking place in accordance with immutable laws and beginning anew at every ending.
– I Ching Wilhelm/Baynes Edition

Are only the wealthy prosperous? Must we count ourselves among the rare elite with perfect health and vitality, who live dream lives as reality and embrace love beyond romance in order to know prosperity? We are prosperous now as we are and with what potential we believe that we possess. We are prosperous now and contain within possibilities as yet undiscovered that wait just below the surface of our consciousness ready to spring into fruition as soon as we see them.

At her first lesson, she falls in love with the music and the feel of her movement. She has won no prize, achieved no fame. She learns all of the movements, practices, discovering her body and all of its power and grace. She learns technique and many styles then choosing her own she discovers her soul and brings it to every movement. Choreographers love her for she is a dancer. But, she knew that the very first day.

The novice meditator is a mystic. The enlightened mystic brings his novice mind to every sitting. Beginning endures through all stages of evolution while the end, the awareness of Spirit as all endures from first concept to wordlessly wonderful attainment.

Each through commitment discovers enduring prosperity within. All avenues of expression are success, from novice mason to lead soprano, from sales clerk to star quarterback, or any other role in our human callings require interest, attention, commitment, even devotion to endure. We bring those qualities or we discover that we prosper in enduring failure or lack.

Durable prosperity is ours to enjoy today if we will simply enjoy today and then be and do what is required to sustain that enjoyment. Enjoyment is a quality embracing joy, gratitude, and appreciation, which requires our choice and nothing else. Yet, our very enjoyment reveals within us and attracts to us more of the life we enjoy.

Do you notice – I notice – that I am describing a self-generated self-contained prosperity? I sat quietly this morning after rising and affirming that I would act prosperously today. Then I found my quote and then I began to write as my thoughts flowed through my pen onto paper, showing me that I too have interest, dedication, and innate prosperity, which reveals itself to me according to the laws of my life as I set them. I set the laws of my life anew with every choice.

Now I turn in trust to the Presence of that One that calls each of us to be open and fulfilled by Its actions through and as us. I yield to my calling and with Emerson and countless as yet unknown masters, I allow the muse to write through me, I claim the mastery inherent within the novice and for the first time again, I speak my word of truth and let it move me in perfect Law into my complete and enduring prosperity.

“First you ask definitely for direction, then it will enter your consciousness as a definite thought; then in your turn you give it back the thought and it will give you back the thing. It answers every question, solves every problem; it is the solution to every difficulty.” Ernest Holmes
